Tomorrow Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 15, 16 and 17th April, there will be the Meditation of the Holy Way of the Cross, starting at 5:25 pm. Mass follows at 6pm.
Thursday 16th April is Maundy Thursday. At 6pm there will be a solemn celebration as a remembrance of the Last Supper of the Lord. There will be the washing of the feet, and towards the end, a procession with the Holy Sacrament to the Altar of Reposition.
At 7pm, we will hold the seven visits to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
At 9pm, the family commission of the parish will animate an adoration. The church will stay open until midnight.
Next Friday 19th April, the holy Church will be celebrating Holy Friday. This is a day of fasting and abstinence. In the morning, the Holy Eucharist will be administered to homebound persons. Kindly contact the parish in advance.
At 3pm, we celebrate the solemn memory of the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Saturday 20th April is Holy Saturday.
At 8pm we celebrate the Easter Vigil with the Blessing of the Fire and the Paschal Candle.
The 6 pm Mass satisfies the obligations for Christmas.
At 10.30pm on Christmas Eve, our church will be opened. At 11 pm the Christmas vigil with the participation of the Merivyan quartet followed by the Christmas sermon delivered by Eve Farrugia. At midnight we have a solemn high mass of the birth of Jesus. The mass is being celebrated by Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona on the occasion of the 50th year our church became a parish. After Mass, we share moments of joy with a reception in the convent hall.
