22 ta’ Ġunju 2014 – Tifkira Solenni tal-Ġisem u d-Demm ta’ Kristu

Għada/ illum issir l-ewwel tqarbina lit-tfal tagħna f’quddiesa li tibda fl-4pm. Nifirħu ma’ dawn iċ-ċkejknin tagħna u l-ġenituri tagħhom biex jibqgħu jgħinu liċ- ċkejknin fl-għaqda tagħhom ma’ Ġesù.

Il-Ħadd 29th ta’ Ġunju  niċċelebraw is Solennità tal-Qalb ta’ Ġesù fil-quddiesa tas-6:00pm. Wara ssir purċissjoni żgħira bis-Sagrament, bis-sehem tat-tfal li jkunu għamlu l-ewwel Tqarbina.

29th June 2014 – The Body and Blood of Christ

Today Mass will be said at 4pm and some children will receive their Holy Communion. We rejoice with these children and their parents and pray that God will keep them united together in his love.

 

Sacred Heart of Jesus

On Sunday 29th June we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. After the 6pm Mass there will be a small procession with the Blessed Sacrament and the children who received their First Holy Communion will also take part in the Procession.

  1. Next Tuesday 10th June, there will be a Eucharistic Adoration organised by the Apostolate of the Divine Mercy of our parish after 6pm Mass.

  2. Next Saturday 14th June, Ta’ Xbiex Day. The Mayor, Councilors and members will attend Mass at 6:00pm.
  3. A Prayer meeting for the Sanctification of the Clergy is being held every month in different Parishes. The meeting for this month will take place at San Ġwann Parish Church on Saturday 14th June.
  4. Mass will be said at 9:00 pm and the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue after, up to 11:00 pm. Our participation during this Prayer meeting is a witness of love and respect toward the Clergy and our appreciation for all their Pastoral work.
  5. Sunday 15th June Father`s Day, as we usually do every year, we offer masses for all deceased fathers. You can write down the name of your dearly deceased and place them in the envelopes provided at the entrance of the Church together with your contribution for mass.
  6. Archbishop Paul Cremona will concelebrate Mass on the occasion of the appointment of the New Parish Priest Fr. Salvino Spagnol on Wednesday 2nd July at 6:00pm.
  7. The last special collection held on the first Sunday of the Month amounted to 532.07 Euros. Thank you for your generosity.

  1. Nhar it-tlieta 10 ta’ Ġunju jkun hawn Adorazzjoni Ewkaristika mill-Appostolat tal-Ħniena Divina tal-Parroċċa tagħna wara l-Quddiesa tas-6pm.

  2. Nhar is-Sibt 14 ta’ Ġunju huwa Jum Ta’ Xbiex. Fis 6:00pm Quddiesa bis- sehem tas-Sindku, Kunsulliera u Membri.
  3. Kull xahar, fi knejjes differenti, tiġi organizata laqgħa ta’ talb għall-qdusija tal-Kleru. Dan ix- xahar, din il-laqgha ta’ talb se ssir is-Sibt 14 ta’ Ġunju 2014, fil-Knisja Parrokkjali ta’ San Ġwann.
  4. Il laqgħa tibda fid-9:00pm, bil-quddiesa u tibqa’ sejra bl-Adorazzjoni sal-11:00pm. Is-sehem tagħna jkun xhieda tal-imħabba tagħna lejn is-saċerdot u tal-apprezzament tagħna tal-ħidma tiegħu fostna.
  5. Il-Ħadd 15 ta’ Ġunju huwa Jum il-Missier. Kif nagħmlu kull sena, il-quddies kollu jiġi offrut għall-Missirijiet Mejtin kollha. Għal dawk li jixtiequ, ħdejn l-antiporta ssibu envelops fejn tkunu tistgħu tiktbu l-ismijiet tal-mejtin tagħkom, flimkien mal-offerta għall-Quddiesa.
  6. Infakkarkom illi l-Pussess tal-Kappillan il-ġdid P. Salvinu Spagnol se ssir l- Erbgħa 2 ta’ Lulju fis-6:00pm, u se titmexxa minn Mons. Arċisqof Pawlu Cremona OP.
